A Building Block Approach to Network Control

چکیده
Adding a network interface to a microprocessor-controlledproduct significantly complicates the product design. This paper describes a method of 'rmnimizJng this addedcomplexity by encapsulating the network interface in its own processor and providing a simple, standard internalcommunications interfacebetween the network processor and the host processor. This approach significantly easesproduct design and reduces development time.
